“Sing through my voice, play through my hands, let the way be open.”

-A Beautiful Chorus

Wings of Light Podcast

A space for me to share stories from my heart

I love sharing stories on my podcast, it is a place where I sit and ponder out loud about creativity, intuition, healing, spirituality and love. I recently renamed my podcast, “Wings of Light” from “Deep Rooted Healing.” I love the evolutions this space for my voice goes through. I started speaking my stories here in 2020 during the pandemic when I was sitting in my bedroom alone A LOT and I needed to talk about what I was feeling and thinking about. I thought, why not try making a podcast and see what happens? I would plug in a microphone, sit at my art table next to my bed, look out the window at the sky and trees and talk. Then I’d put it out into the world, not knowing if anyone would listen. But they did and it has been amazing to receive messages of connection from around the world! Those messages remind me that opening my heart and sharing honestly can have ripple effects and create loving community in surprising and beautiful ways.

The podcast has had a few names: It started as “Reflections from My Art Table” and then became “Creative Unearthing Podcast” then “Deep Rooted Healing Podcast” and now “Wings of Light Podcast". Each step felt right and resonant until I knew it was time to change.

May we all create or find spaces where we feel safe enough to speak openly from our hearts with the only agenda being authenticity, vulnerability and honesty. And may that help us feel more connected to ourselves and each other through the power of love.

You can listen here search for “Wings of Light” on any podcast player. And if something touches you that I share, I would love to hear from you! You can reach out through my website contact page or send me a message on Instagram.

Emma Freeman from Deep Rooted Healing in Art Studio

I record every podcast episode at my art table in my bedroom that looks out on the woods and sky. It is my little sanctuary, my nest of creativity.

I hope you find some inspiration for your own spiritual and creative journey in what I share.
