I’m Emma Freeman, a Heart-Led Artist, Embodied Light Worker, Reiki Master, Intuitive Medium and Teacher. I’m playful, deeply sensitive, silly and joyful.

My journey has been to discover who I am at my core. That process has become the way I have learned to love myself, how to live from my heart and it has opened the way for more light to flow through me in ways that have amazed me. The path has been incredibly challenging at times, reshaping who I am from the inside out over and over again, helping me learn how to become who I have always been meant to become. Growing through this has been like a seed that tries to find its way toward the surface from below ground, where the darkness has been overshadowing the light for so long. But the way has always been revealed to me like the seed that finds its way up up up into the light. The path has been shaped by relationships with beautiful souls who have helped me find my way, have encouraged me to try new things and those who have been there when things were really scary and hard to figure out. Art has been the anchor through it all, the way I find my emotional grounding again and again, how I have been able to explore my inner world and know myself more deeply and how I have had so much fun. Art revives me soul. I wake up excited to make art every day.

I live in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin where I was raised and returned to in 2020 to grow deeper roots.

My Education and Background:

My journey has led me to explore a variety of creative mediums, healing modalities and philosophies, all inspired by my deep curiosity and need to learn and heal. Here are a few highlights:

  • I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher

  • I have completed courses in spiritual counseling through The American Institute of Health Care Professionals

  • I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Studio Art and Visual Culture from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

  • I studied massage therapy at Everyday Bliss Massage School in Waukesha, Wisconsin

  • I studied mindfulness meditation with Sean Fargo of Mindfulness Exercises

  • I have worked in the arts and arts education for over 20 years in a variety of ways including as a professional artist and photographer, shop owner, studio manager, and in various schools and organizations teaching art classes to kids and adults
