Building altars has become a creative practice that I love. I make altars around my art studio which is in my bedroom and also in my healing space where I practice Reiki and other healing work for clients. Altars are such sacred places that can hold the best energies and radiate them out to the space they are in and carry all that goodness into our hearts when we see them. I love to improvise as I create an altar, flowing with what I feel drawn to in the moment, whether that is a stone, an old quote I find in a drawer, a piece of art I made that is particularly resonant for me or anything else I feel inspired to mix in.
